Lying in the beautiful Eden Valley between the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales it is ideally situated to explore their many delights. In an area dotted with historical monuments and outstanding natural attractions there is something for everyone to enjoy including excellent local walking riding fishing and golf. Appleby an ancient market town with pretty cobbled streets inns and shops lies 7 miles away. Great Asby (3 miles) has a pub serving food.
