Widemouth Bay's fine sandy surfing beaches and Bude's golf course excellent swimming pool cycle hire and canalside walks are just 10 miles away whilst dotted along the coast lie charming fishing villages including Boscastle and its picturesque harbour Tintagel with its National Trust post office and 'Arthurian' castle Port Isaac and Padstow – with picture postcard gem Clovelly to the north. A variety of water sports can be enjoyed at the Tamar Lakes and horse riding is found locally. The market towns of Launceston (home to a steam railway) and Holsworthy are just 9 miles away. Pub and shop 3½ miles.
